You can add as many courses as needed. If you want to calculate your cumulative GPA, enter your previous GPA and total credits completed before this semester and the calculator will factor those in automatically.
GPA Formula
The formula used to calculate GPA is:
GPA = Total Quality Points ÷ Total Credit Hours
Where:
- Quality Points = grade value × credit hours
- Total Credit Hours = sum of all course credits
This formula determines the average GPA based on the grades earned in each course.

Quality points calculation:
Math → 4.0 × 3 = 12

Total Quality Points = 34.2
Total Credit Hours = 10
GPA = 34.2 ÷ 10 = 3.42
